Love the Host

Simon tangents might be seen as irritating for getting distracted from the script, but this is what makes the show money!! This makes the show unique and Simon says everything you are thinking!! The Casual part of criminality is a lot more entertaining than having to hear these horrors in seriousness and then I wouldn’t be able to sleep at night.

What’re you up to

Simon, I’ve been listening for awhile now and my favorite parts of the story are when you tangent and talk about the subject saying “what’re you up to”. It makes me laugh every time. Thank for the crime stories done casually.
Love from Texas.

True Crime

Simon Whistler has put together a real wild card of a true crime podcast, between his cold reading of scripts (resulting in spontaneous reactions and hilarious personal tangents) and his writers not only finding strange and gruesome crimes, but also playing with audience expectations. This isn’t a show that thinly veils its morbid curiosity with pretentious warbling, but feels like an honest reaction to the things that fascinate and terrify us.
