Temperance, Illicit Drug Use & Wacko Politicians

Temperance, Illicit Drug Use & Wacko Politicians

The virtue of temperance is the focus of this episode as we explore the Church's moral view on moderation of earthly goods and pleasures. We also cover a major social issue in Canada which is the increase in drug usage and addiction through decriminalization and supervised injection sites. The implementation of this policy by the federal government lead to an amusing exchange in Ottawa's House of Commons where the Leader of the Opposition called Justin Trudeau a "wacko" Prime Minister.
We point to the virtue of temperance and a Sacramental life as the answer to this issue and all that ills our world.
