...and I don’t just mean among classical music podcasts. Ben and Garrick are great separately, but geeking out together they have an energy that has only gotten better over time. I love this thing so much that I’ve subscribed to Ben’s Patreon where I can listen to the uncut interviews. I dread the day this comes to an end. Do another one! Please? How about the Beethoven piano sonatas? I know we just had his 250th but let’s face it, with Covid that didn’t really happen. Maybe we could make up for that with a 255th.
Great

This is the best classical music podcast out there. Glad Ben left Tonebase.
Wish there could be more!

This is just exactly what I want more of. More of all of it.

Over the past year or so, I have become quite an admirer of Ben Laude. He seems to be an extraordinary chap, a talented musician in his own right, but what sets him apart is his incredible ability to articulate his very genuine feelings about musical moments that mean so much to him, and as a result of how empathetic and sincere he comes across, I can’t help but feel similarly about the music he enjoys. Chopin tugs at my heartstrings and I am so looking forward to the remainder of this podcast.
