Refugee Journalists
Journalists around the world and minority reporters in Oregon have been threatened while doing their work. In this City Club of Eugene program, we hear the experiences of researchers and journalists who have been endangered. We also hear about where minorities are receiving their news.
Speakers include: Charlie Deitz, University of Oregon journalism instructor; Farai Gonzo, journalist and professor, Centennial College (Canada); Kimberly Mangun, associate professor emerita, communications, University of Utah; and two students.
