The City in the City in the City
Two women, each marked by loss and linked together by a strange twist of fate, journey to an ancient city—a storied city without borders—in search of answers and escape. But what they discover there will change their lives in ways neither of them could expect. Two actors (Eboni Booth and Mary Cavett) play more than thirty characters on this wild ride through a city of doubles, monastic cheese, octogenarian vocalists, dizzying bureaucracy, ancient graves, and lives more expansive and singular and wondrous than found even in myths and legends.

Magical

This was in turns creepy, touching, mysterious, funny, and magical. I really really like the characters that are clearly full human beings on their own, who I can see having lives beyond the curtains. The world of the city feels full of characters and life. I especially like the layering of the audio parts. Matthew, I expected I would like this because of your character work on the GCP, but I was not prepared to be this blown away. Thank you so much for sharing this with the world.

What a phenomenal story with a great mixture of an intriguing story and some comedy. I didn't really have expectations, I was sitting here on my computer and just randomly picked one I hadn't heard yet. Needless to say I was very pleasantly surprised. Great story and great acting. Usually you can pick out at least one voice that feels like poor acting, but not in this one. I'd recommend it to anyone I know.
