Inspiring Classical Guitar Education 🎶

I was brand new to the classical guitar world last year and have now finished listening to all the episodes. This podcast with Simon is so warm, encouraging, insightful, and inspiring. I learned so much and it kept me engaged while I was away from the guitar. Thank you!

Classical Guitar Corner Podcast

I have listened to every CGC Podcast. Some episodes more than once. After 45+ years of playing guitar, I did not know until these Podcasts, CGC Academy YouTube videos and now (4) books from CGC Publishing, that I was playing Classical Guitar improperly. With all of the knowledge I have listed here, I stopped everything I had been doing, with my “bad habits”, and started from scratch - Free Hand/Left Hand techniques, Rest Strokes, alternations, cross string, dynamics, etc. The years of dedication, work and efforts brought forward by Dr. Simon Powis, and now his staff, is nothing short of amazing! Listening to this Podcast made me realize I had to dig in deeper to become a better player. Hearing stories of what I have gone through and where I am made me know I was not alone. Dr. Powis is uplifting, positive and direct. This has helped me to “Be Inspired”. My hope for the next step is to join CGC Academy!

Phenomenal classical guitar podcast

I have difficulty picking a favorite, but this podcast along with the Tonebase Classical Guitar Podcast are my absolute favorites. This show gets phenomenal guests, and the host/interviewer is super great as well.
