Extreme weather is accelerating around the world, including here in Europe. In this episode, we discuss Europe's record-breaking heatwave and contextualize it in our future climate trajectory. Our world is in crisis. And the ruling class is driving us deeper into the abyss. With so many crises ricocheting around the world, it can be difficult to make sense of it all. 

Feelings of disempowerment and dismay can easily grip us and cause our inward retreat. We need to cope with terminal disaster in our own way, but it's also vital that we take a sober stock of where we are now as a species and civilization. 

In this episode we discuss three crises: the cost of living scandal, monkeypox, and environmental breakdown. We highlight current impacts, their causes, and where we go from here.
