    BlackWaters

    BlackWaters

This episodes guests have been making waves in the Sheffield punk scene since 2017.

We first caught a glance at the next band during their show at the Scala, London back in 2016. Since then the band have found themselves performing at Reading & Leeds Festival, selling out their UK headline tour and hosting numerous live shows in their very backyard.

BlackWaters have proved to be a force to be reckoned with and have shown during their live shows that the anarchist and chaotic Punk lifestyle from the 70’s is still alive and kicking. With a newly announced debut album on the way we joined lead vocalist Max and drummer James to discuss this and more.

    FEET

    FEET

On this episode of The Clunk Show we’re joined by arguably one of the most exciting London-based indie/punk bands who went form their post-punk leaning early singles to taking a slanted view on Brit-pop in their later albums.

Hot off their latest EP release “Walking Machine” please welcome to the show FEET.

The band was formed in 2016 by students attending Coventry University. After a few lineup changes, the band began to find their sound in post-punk, which came out in early singles such as "Petty Thieving" and "Backseat Driver."

With the band living together in a North London flat since late 2019, and the isolation of being stuck in lockdown has allowed FEET to progress their sound to how they want it to be.

Please welcome to the show George and Harry!

    School Disco

    School Disco

Hailing from Brighton this three-piece grunge act but sound like a bunch of hooligans when they pick up their instruments you’ll be bombarded with fuzzed-out, riff slinging, and slimy vocals. Hot off their track with a new EP and joining us for this episode is School Disco.
Their new release marks a fresh sound for the band yet is still reminiscent of the sound they’ve been cultivating in the last few years. It drifts away from the experimental and sits in the more stable territory.
We’re joined today by lead vocalist Rory.
    Welcome to the show Rory!

    Lauran Hibberd

    Lauran Hibberd

On this episode we’re joined by a very special guest thanks to the folks over at Super Cat PR, Lauran Hibberd.

We first caught wind of Lauran back in 2019 with her delightfully infectious singles ‘Call Shotgun’ and ‘Bang Bang Bang’. Since then a lot has happened for the rising indie-pop artist, she’s toured with Hippocampus, played various sold out shows across the country and secured herself a spot on the Glastonbury Introducing stage.

Working with producer Suzy Shinn, Lauran has been busy recording her latest EP “Goober", as well as the debut album she says has been three years in the making.

We’re so excited to have Lauran on the show.

    Welcome Lauran!
