Ostrom's research challenged conventional notions of resource management by highlighting the effectiveness of communal governance. Commons, at its core, involves shared resources and the collective systems that communities develop to sustainably manage them. In the educational context, commons extends beyond physical resources to encompass shared knowledge, collaborative practices, and the democratization of creative processes.
