    Ep. 127 - The Comeback

Many cultures across the globe and throughout history believe that the human soul, doesn't ascend to some higher plain of being, but actually becomes reborn in a new human body. In this episode I tell you some of the history of reincarnation, and of some of the more chilling cases in which an individual has claimed to have live before.

Ep. 126 - The Black Art

When photography was first invented back in the 19th century, it launched a number of people to find new ways to innovate and expand the craft. One photographer in particular who did something unique, was William Mumler. He was an amateur chemist, engraver and portrait photographer, who promised to give his customers something they couldn't get anywhere else--a photo of themselves with the ghost of a dead loved one.

    Ep. 125 - The Jinx

On December 4, 1872, the British Brigantine The Dei Gratia found another ship floating abandoned in the ocean. The entire crew had mysteriously vanished, leaving untouched meals on the table, and no clear sign where they could have gone. The name of that ship was the Mary Celeste.

Ep. 124 - The Worst Woman on Earth

In this episode, I tell you the story of long-forgotten serial killer Lizzie Halliday. During the late 19th century, she became well-known for murdering several of her husbands, among others. There were even those who claimed she might have been the most famous serial killer of all, Jack the Ripper.

Ep. 123 - The Spanish Lady

In this special episode I tell you the story of the Spanish Flu outbreak of 1918, a pandemic unlike any other in human history. You'll hear what's known and still unknown about this mysterious epidemic, and I try to make sense of it all, and draw parallels with the strange situation we find ourselves living in today.

The perfect podcast

I’ll be honest — I’m hard to please when it comes to podcasts, but this one is perfect. The host has a nice clear voice, the show starts right away without wasting the listener’s time, the topics are extremely interesting and well researched. The episodes are even the perfect length. I wouldn’t change a single thing, so I’m definitely happy with this podcast and will be recommending it to everyone I know.

Thank you for all the hours of entertainment you’ve provided during this quarantine, good sir.

Edit: After having just listened to the episode ‘The Bitter Pill’ I disagree with the hosts praise of Johnson & Johnson. This is a company that knew its talcum powder had asbestos and hid documents proving the link and many women developed cancer because J&J failed to do anything. They also repeatedly used cheap and defective materials in their hip replacement and other products to save money. They shredded documents that proved their criminal liability in other cases and paid doctors to prescribe dangerous drugs to vulnerable patients all so the company could make more money. Oh, and they've repeatedly been criticized by Doctors Without Borders for refusing to include patents on three of their HIV meds available to a program that would’ve made them affordable to patients in poor countries.

It’s all about the almighty dollar, no matter how much death and suffering they cause — they don’t care.

So no, Johnson & Johnson deserves absolutely no praise and is an evil company. Sorry, but I could not bite my tongue. Still love the show!
