There have been massive delays in the Denver District Court civil case of Coomer v. Trump, Giuliani, Powell, Malkin, Oltmann, Salem Corporon, et al. Still, many court filings allow us to play the sound that makes the case—Trump’s Big Lie flowed out of Colorado.

Trace the 'sound' trail from the crucial weeks following the 2020 election. During this time, #DenverTrumpRadio stations, 630KHOW and 710KNUS, played a significant role in amplifying dual aspects of Trump’s despicable efforts. Notably, Jenna Ellis used the Den Caplis show as a platform to promote the 'Stop the Steal' narrative.

Hear Oltmann’s frequent guesting on 710KNUS (Salem-Colorado) at the end of 2020, where he set forth his tall, destructive tale that he intercepted Eric Coomer’s alleged Antifa conference call, in which he pledged to rig the election against Trump through Dominion Voting Systems.

Listen chronologically as Oltmann, with allies and sponsors like Mike Lindell, spreads his defamations about Dr. Eric Coomer. It begins with Randy Corporon, who worked with fellow lawyers Jenna Ellis and Sidney Powell. Next, Oltmann's radio appearances with Deb Flora, George Brauchler and Peter Boyles get reviewed.

A sound record is made here of how American democracy has been getting destroyed from within by MAGA manipulations and disinformation. Hear the incriminating words of the media members who helped bring disaster to our democracy with their normalization of MAGA.

Authoritarianism and disinformation march in when democracies and the courts react way too slowly. We advance the Coomer case by letting you hear the evidence for yourself. The trial may still be years away, but we have the sound today.

The host just went to Spain to gain new perspectives on America from Marbella and Seville. The NY v Trump trial is going fast, but not most other MAGA-related litigation. The view of America from Europe right now is trepidation. Show Troubadour Dave Gunders brings us his classic, "Song for Columbus," about a Spanish voyager.

"Playing that Zydeco" by Dave Gunders - 25:45

    Eli Stokols - 31:30

Episode 211 begins with a review of the New York v Trump trial. That’s followed by a review of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones' epic performance Thursday night at Jazzfest 2024 in New Orleans. Show Troubadour Dave Gunders is on fire as he reviews the experience from the banks of the Mississippi River in New Orleans. We then “Play that Zydeco,” an original composition by Gunders, which he performed last summer in Gold Hill, Colorado.

Accomplished journalist Eli Stokols keeps receiving historic White House assignments following his near decade-long successful run in Colorado television and magazines. Stokols moved on to become a DC family guy with a great journalist wife and kids. The LA Times and WSJ are former homes, but Eli Stokols' with Politico again.
    https://www.politico.com/blogs/politico-press/2022/10/18/eli-stokols-joins-politico-as-white-house-reporter-00062346

Eli covered the 2016 election for POLITICO, starting with the Jeb Bush campaign before turning his reporting lens on Donald Trump. He’s covered the White House ever since Trump took office in 2017. Along the way, he interacted frequently with Hope Hicks and Michel Cohen. Spoiler alert – Hicks was much more pleasant than Cohen.

This special name-dropping episode features discussions of Donald Trump, Joe Biden, Kyle Clark, OJ Simpson, Elizabeth Orden, Doug Lamborn, Joe Neguse, Jason Crow, Lauren Boebert, John Hickenlooper, Michael Bennet, Ken Buck, Jon Hamm, Scarlett Johansen, Colin Jost, Elena Schneider, Tim Walz, Dick Wadhams, Corey Lewandowski, Dudley Brown, Arthur Sulzberger, Peter Baker and Howard Stern.
    https://www.nytimes.com/2018/09/16/fashion/weddings/elena-schneider-eli-stokols.html

Stokols wrote the explosive Politico Magazine story titled “The Petty Feud Between the NYT and the White House.” In it, Stokols identified petty disputes between Biden-Harris and the highest echelons of the New York Times and how it led to caricatures of our President as he ran against Trump.
    https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2024/04/25/new-york-times-biden-white-house-00154219

Published right before the wacky weekend, which includes the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Eli Stokols even had President Joe Biden responding with jabs about doing interviews with "strong, independent journalists who millions of people actually listen to... like Howard Stern." Eli Stokols helped make that laugh line happen.
    https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/politics-news/joe-biden-howard-stern-interview-hillary-clinton-1235887751/

Stokols has fond memories of Colorado and political controversies in the Centennial State. Now, Eli Stokol’s beat remains the White House, where he co-authors the West Wing Playbook for Politico. Stokols studied history at Cal-Berkeley, where he also was a varsity baseball pitcher. He went to Columbia for graduate school. Protests on those campuses get our attention.

Episode 210 - Barry Levine and Greg Gold

Episode 210 - Barry Levine and Greg Gold

    Rundown -

Greg Gold in Craig's Lawyers' Lounge - 11:04

    Barry Levine - 31:44

    Troubadour Dave Gunders - 01:30:15

"Set the Tone" by Dave Gunders - 01:42:14

The Craig Silverman Show’s New York v Trump trial correspondent Greg Gold reports on his 100 Centre Street Manhattan Criminal Courthouse observations. Trump claims that the area is locked down and Greg proves that Trump is a liar. Gold reports the prosecution’s opening witness, David Pecker, is astoundingly good.

This case has more at stake than the John Edwards prosecution in North Carolina, which Greg Gold also attended. In Craig’s Lawyers’ Lounge, a high-level discussion occurs about what evidence might be persuasive. Greg Gold sets the scene brilliantly for the New York v Trump trial that is now underway.

The first witness in the trial is David Pecker from the National Enquirer. Our show's main guest is Barry Levine, who worked for Pecker and the Enquirer from 1999 to 2016. Barry Levine knows all the details and has broken the Enquirer's big stories on John Edwards, Jessie Jackson and Tiger Woods. He explains how those stories happened.

Barry Levine describes Packer's style and how he was once assigned a 2010 interview with Trump. Levine also provides the history of the National Enquirer, especially after it was under the control of David Pecker and the American Media Inc. Host discusses how he was sometimes a paid legal consultant for AMI on celebrity crime stories.

Barry Levine is an experienced New Yorker and accomplished American journalist, author and media executive. He is best known for his work as an investigative reporter and editor in politics, government and entertainment, having worked for many years at the National Enquirer.
    https://nypost.com/2017/05/11/ex-national-enquirer-editor-joins-heavy/

Levine and the Enquirer were nominated for a Pulitzer Prize for their story exposing the love child of former Democratic vice presidential nominee John Edwards. Senator Edwards's subsequent campaign fraud prosecution resembles what Trump now faces.

In 2019, Barry Levine authored "All the President's Women: Donald Trump and the Making of a Predator." Back then, Levine and other reporters followed Trump's Aspen affairs. Barry knows Donald Trump's NY secrets and Trump's fantasy of being Hugh Hefner. Levine has interviewed scores of females Trump has victimized.

Troubadour Dave Gunders also discusses opening witness David Pecker and how DAs need to "Set the Tone," the title of Dave's song this week. Every trial is a rollercoaster ride, as is the 2024 election. South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem is also discussed for the shooting of her puppy, Cricket. What an outrage!

Episode 209 - Craig’s Colorado Corner with Greg Gold and Chris Decker

    Rundown -

    Greg Gold - 04:41

    Chris Decker - 24:33

Craig’s Colorado Corner brings you Colorado lawyers and pundits voicing their opinions on the Trump trials and tribulations. New York v Trump is off and running with Opening Statements and first witness, David Pecker. There was a gag-order hearing too, with Judge Merchan taking the matter under advisement.

Our New York v. Trump jury trial correspondent, Colorado attorney Greg Gold, was in the Manhattan courthouse today and got into the overflow television viewing room with many media celebrities. Greg Gold describes the scene and the excellent credibility of witness Pecker.
    https://www.thegoldlawfirm.net/

Greg Gold lives a life of litigation and adventure and has joined us before from Ukraine. His description of the dramatic events in Lower Manhattan is vivid as he leaves the courthouse fresh after witnessing wild events. How did Greg Gold get in? Find out what it’s like on that 15th floor where American history’s unfolding.

Prominent Colorado criminal defense attorney Chris Decker has tried over 200 jury trials in his three-decade career. He’s the past president of the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and a longtime member of its Board of Directors.

Decker and the host go over every aspect of New York v. Trump so far. Issues include immunity for Pecker, not Cohen and why. We also discuss difficult defendants and problems with Todd Blanche’s Opening Statement on behalf of defendant Trump. We consider how best this case can be prosecuted and defended.

Decker practiced as a Deputy State Public Defender for more than a decade and was assigned to the Colorado Springs, Arapahoe, Douglas, Adams and Denver trial offices. During his years as a Public Defender, he handled thousands of criminal cases ranging from D.U.I. to murder in the first degree. Mr. Decker has won numerous and significant trial verdicts for his appointed clients.

Decker has won complete acquittals in cases charging sexual assault, first and second-degree assault, drug possession and distribution, burglary, theft, menacing, witness intimidation, kidnapping and murder. He has also written several successful criminal appeals.

Decker also works in civil law with several significant results for his clients. He has initiated numerous successful claims under Section 1983 of the Civil Rights Act for police brutality and excessive force claims. Decker recently won the largest Defamation verdict against an individual in Colorado history.

    Episode 208 - Kyle Clark

    Episode 208 - Kyle Clark

    Rundown -

    Kyle Clark - 20:40

    Troubadour Dave Gunders - 01:27:50

"Don't Give Me No Vape" by Dave Gunders - 01:43:03

9News Anchor Kyle Clark returns for the first time since Episode 100. We discuss his recent windy interview with US Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg and his tough helicopter story that made Governor Polis squirm. An objective reporter, Clark’s long been the news leader at Colorado’s News Leader.

A native of a small town in Western New York, Kyle Clark worked AM radio at age 15 and loved his responsibilities filling in the open spots as play-by-play man John Sterling put his flourish to announcing on the New York Yankee Network. We learn though that his favorite sport is the NFL and the Buffalo Bills of his youth.

For the first time on air, Kyle Clark reveals his youthful obsession with Buffalo Bills legend Orenthal James Simpson, who played under head coach Lou Saban (legendary Juice and Electric Company). Did Kyle follow the trial? Did he ever? Listen as Kyle Clark describes his sports passions.
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6TacThTV9c

The differences between CA v Simpson and NY v Trump are analyzed. There are different forms of media coverage. What worked for 9News during OJ would not work today. We discuss Kyle Clark’s experience covering a big northern Colorado murder case from start to finish. The American criminal justice system is the greatest show on earth.

Nothing about the Trump hush money election interference trial has obvious ties to Colorado, but Trump’s other Big Lie litigations sure do. Kyle Clark has studied and presented facts and figures showing how big parts of Trump’s Big Lie and Insurrection flowed out of Colorado.

Mass shootings have happened all too often in the great state of Colorado beginning 25 years ago at Columbine. Kyle Clark tells us he was a high school sophomore like Danny Mauser when he was executed. Now, Danny’s dad and other parents of murdered children are being attacked on social media by pols.

Kyle Clark pushes back against those lowlifes who would disparage legislators Tom Sullivan and Rhonda Fields. It used to be we all felt fury when Alex Jones made lies for profit in the wake of Sandy Hook. Now, MTG and groups like RMGO belittle parents of murdered children.
    https://www.9news.com/video/news/local/next/next-with-kyle-clark/commentary-theres-a-sickening-rise-in-indecency-toward-families-of-mass-shooting-victims-and-survivors/73-fbf74ee8-3ac4-4d49-aa31-1c410ac7e2b4

Colorado’s CD4 gets discussed and the prospects of Lauren Boebert making her successful move east in Colorado. Regret was expressed that no invitation went out for a 9News debate between Boebert and Frisch in 2022. How’s that for introspection? Memorable encounters with Boebert placeholder, Greg Lopez, get reviewed, as do the chances of Dem Trisha Calvarese.

Kyle Clark gives his take on Denver pro sports ownership. Carpetbagging worries abound around the leaderless Broncos. The Monforts may never sell the Rockies; content to make money through visits by fans of opposition teams. As for the Nuggets and Avs, passionately decried is our inability to watch them on our regular TV simply.

We discuss Kyle’s amazing Word of Thanks, which has raised over 12 million dollars. It’s easy and makes you feel good when you become a recurrent weekly giver. People trust Kyle Clark’s judgment and hundreds of non-profits have benefited.
    https://www.9news.com/thanks

We are thankful for a great conversation with Troubadour Dave Gunders about the Nuggets-Lakers series, how NY vs. Trump may shake out, the impact of a Judge who runs a tight courtroom and it's all happening on Passover. This year’s Seder may have different prayers based on NY, Israel and world events. Gunders gives us his 4/20 song, "Don't Give Me No Vape."
