More Michael, less Sabrina
I loved the show and listened daily when Michael was the only Joey. I enjoy the balance in reporting. This I’d the closest auditory replication of The West Wing I’ve found and I love it for that.
That said, the second I hear Sarina’s voice as the host, I turn it off. She sobs like she’s reading straight from a script and try also overacts it all. Michael has a natural flow. But this is the trend; he states tiffs really great podcast then eventually hands it off to someone slightly less talented. Happened with The Run Up and now is happening with The Daily.
Can’t wait to see what his next project is!
More Michael Less Sabrina
This is my favorite podcast; found it through my NYTimes subscription. There isn’t AC better show. Having said that, must add here that the clear sound of show was greatly diluted when Tavernise became alternate host. In the season before, her dreadful reports from Russia were tolerated, not knowing I’d have to endure more this year. Don’t like the emotional thing she does with undeserved populations, encouraging women to cry. Loved the original Runup when Micheal did that. At least please let’s have Michael 4 days an week, rather than the current lineup.

NYT Daily is not the only podcast featuring the SD testimony. But it’s the best because it told a fuller story, intelligently discussed prosecutor/defense strategy, & was reported by a credible journalist who is clearly committed to telling this story about Trump’s criminal trial. The Daily never disappoints. Keep up the fantastic work!
