    The Wedding

We weren't planning on playing clips from our wedding on the podcast, primarily because we thought it would be boring for you: "I do" "I Will" "to have and to hold" etc etc. But then the wedding turned out to be a bit more exciting than anticipated. Listen to find out why.

    Mr. Pie And The Cryogenics

    Mr. Pie And The Cryogenics

This week's The David Eagle Podcast is all over the place, in both senses of the phrase. I return from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival having met some interesting characters including a chatty undertaker and a teenager in the woods with a rather confusing proposition. I have a near-death experience in Loughborough, cause chaos in a swimming pool in Sheffield, and Herbal Tea Of The week comes live from Tea Sutra Teahouse in Newcastle. IN Cassette Roulette we meet Mr Pie, and Ellie learns some harsh home truths in our feature spammer time.

The Highlight of My Week

I originally discovered David Eagle from a video of a comedy gig at Hot Water Comedy Club in Liverpool (2019). Since then, I’ve listened to David’s Daily Digital Dollop, and other audio entries which may or may not include stories about Musical Tourette’s, blind spots, a harrowing journey from underneath a wet, piss-filled underpass and personal anecdotes which I’m sure will come in handy for all listeners.

The David Eagle Podcast is something I look forward to each week, and I often find myself thinking, “What will the herbal tea of the week be?”, “How are the potatoes doing?” And more importantly, “Will the co-host, Ellie Skinner, shave her fiancé when they run out of ideas for specials?” (Let’s be honest here, she’s the mastermind behind it all).

Overall, this podcast is great, a bit random, but if you like herbal tea, stories of harrowing journeys, and like to laugh- this is the podcast for you. Cheers from across the pond!

Kinda funny, in a way.

It is never safe to assume or guess what David will say next. Odds are it was not even close to what you imagined. Each episode is prone to flights of fancy - or insanity. It is a fine line. Thanks to David it is mow my lifes goal, even once, to be in a park and stumble across a comedian, hiding in the bushes, trying out new material on unsuspecting passers by. Hilarious, face ache from too much smiling, and a treat every episode. But NEVER trust him with your dog.
