THE DEEP DIVE is not your normal podcast because, well, there are no rules. The aim of the show is to give an authentic look into the minds of the thought leaders and game changers of today by allowing the audience to be a “fly on the wall” for an hour-long conversation. It is my hope that this level of authenticity will allow people to see that being successful isn’t about WHAT you think, but HOW you think.

Matilda Carroll - Does Sharing Devalue The Sacred?

Matilda Carroll - Does Sharing Devalue The Sacred?

Can transparency on social media be unhealthy?

You know me; I’m all for vulnerable shares and honesty, and I have made it a point to be as raw and authentic about my experiences as possible. No subject has been off the table for me, as I believe that when we can be real and honest about what we’ve gone through, or some of the challenges we face, it has the ability to create healing in others that might be going through similar experiences in their life.

This week I am excited to be chatting with Matilda Carrol, who is a powerful medicine woman, tantra instructor and naturopath, and also an avid and tasteful presence on social media. I’ve been inspired by her message, and have always admired her ability to be so raw and truthful on her platform, and on this episode we talk about that level of vulnerability and if it is always healthy to be so real.

    We talk about:

Some of the deep experiences that have come from medicine ceremonies, and what can be shared.   Our own personal perspectives of what is sacred about our own experience, and when it’s valuable to share with others.  The difference between sharing for validation, and sharing for the purpose of allowing others to experience their own healing.

Have you ever gone through a difficult break up? These challenging times can actually be the most pivotal moments of our lives, but unfortunately the medicine can be easy to miss. That’s why I’ve just launched Breakups and Breakthroughs, a 10 week course to help you move through the various stages of a breakup faster, and in a more supportive and healthy way. Cat Caitlin - Where Did All The Conscious Men Go?

Cat Caitlin - Where Did All The Conscious Men Go?

    Are you frustrated with dating?
I’ve heard this a lot lately, that there are not enough conscious men out there in the dating pool. Well, considering myself a conscious man as well as a single one; this question has confused me. The fact is, I know a lot of conscious and really amazing single men and have been impacted a lot in my own view of dating and sexuality because of the men I choose to surround myself with. So, where are they all?
For this conversation I am chatting with sacred sex and tantra instructor and astrologer who leads retreats around the globe, Cat Caitlinn. The topic of consciousness and spirituality in the dating world, and its role in the masculine and feminine dynamic has been one that I’ve wanted to dive into for a while, and I think I may have found the perfect person for the job.
    We talk about:

Astrology! In fact, I even get a little reading from Cat in this episode…  The personal development industry and why it is apparently feminine dominant.  The difference in sexuality inside and out of the conscious community, and how it is affecting dating and relationships.

Charles Clay - How Do You Maintain Sovereignty In Romantic Relationships?

Charles Clay - How Do You Maintain Sovereignty In Romantic Relationships?

Do you lose yourself in romantic relationships?
If you answered yes to this question, don’t worry; you are normal. In fact, most of us experience this especially in the beginning of a new partnership or in the midst of falling in love. It’s easy to do. New love is a dopamine hit that is unlike anything else, and relationships themselves often become a very safe space that can be easy to find shelter in when dealing with a relatively uncertain world. These aren’t necessarily bad things, but when left unchecked can actually create unhealthy codependency and actually put a lot of strain on any relationships; romantic, business, and otherwise.
This week my guest is Charles Clay; a high level coach, husband, and father of 2. With two new lives to be responsible for, he and his wife get to experience the sometimes challenging dynamic of keeping their sovereignty in what can be a very busy and demanding experience; and he has some amazing tips and tricks on how to do so.

Eka Darville - How Do You Balance Purpose With Responsibility?

Eka Darville - How Do You Balance Purpose With Responsibility?

Should purpose ever give way to responsibility?
Most of us are aware of a higher purpose for our life, or at the very least on the search for a deeper meaning. Whether it is through our art, our health, finding love, joy, or hope; purpose is what keeps us moving forward and even gets us through challenging times. But how do you balance the responsibilities of life with the greater search for meaning?
This week’s conversation with Eka Darville was one of my favorites. As an actor, Eka is no stranger to the work and dedication it takes to find success in Hollywood. As a husband and a father of three young boys, he is also no stranger to the beautiful responsibilities that life can throw our way and how they can intersect with our personal goals and dreams.

Tim Morrison - What Does It Take To Heal?

Tim Morrison - What Does It Take To Heal?

Is the healing process ever complete?

Healing has been an important topic in my life and one I try to touch on often on this podcast. It is a beautifully intense process of really opening, being willing to be seen and see yourself, and also ready to step into the work that it takes to move through some of the traumas and woundings that hold us all back.

This week, I brought on Tim Morrison; an artist, healer, and facilitator who has experienced his own profound healing journey and has also worked with so many in their own processes to find deeper levels of themselves and their truth. I found that Tim and I had a lot in common, and I think you will too. After all, healing is kind of a collective thing is it not?

     We talk about:
Some of our own personal journey of healing.  The work it can take to recognize patterns of trauma and start the work.  The importance of healing work, especially in today's day and age, and how healing ourselves can be a collective effort.  The depths of sexual trauma, and the mountain it can be to process and move through something that happens too regularly to both men and women.

Chervin - Are Human Beings Meant To Live Forever?

Chervin - Are Human Beings Meant To Live Forever?

How long are humans actually supposed to live?
We’ve heard stories of long lives, in some circles even legends of immortality. And as science continues to blow our minds with its advances, the Biohacking craze has been taking off especially in the personal development and health and wellness communities. And why not? If there was a way to live longer, healthier lives; why wouldn’t we want to know everything we can about how?
This week’s guest is Chervin, the founder of Cymbiotika, an innovative wellness brand whose supplements have become a part of my routine and lifestyle. He has studied the subject of longevity and health in Eastern and Western medicine, orthomolecular medicine, epigenetics, physiology, nutrition, detoxification, biodynamic agriculture, and philosophy and brings a boat load of insight and perspective to this week’s Deep Dive question.
    We talk about:
The science and misconceptions behind aging.  How understanding your body as “electrical” can change how you see your health. The history behind the sciences involved in BioHacking and longevity and how they are helping people live longer and healthier lives. Live long and prosper, and enjoy the episode.

Food for Thought!

The conversations on the podcast are thought provoking and brutally honest (sometimes, cringe worthy honest). Adam and his guests do not hold back on the ups and downs of being human while offering inspiration and tools to navigate this journey (honestly making me feel a little less alone). With spirituality being somewhat trendy these days- it’s refreshing to hear “popular” spiritual folks talk about all aspects of spirituality with honesty, empathy, reverence for Life and the journey. Enjoy!!

Watch Episode 102!!!

From the episodes I have listened to, all of the right questions are asked, and then they get the listeners to think in a full circle of whatever is being discussed in the episode always encouraging to Think. Also, the vulnerability along with the compassion explored frequently in these discussions are such an inspiration to me on many levels🪄
