Weekly roundup — Around the rim
Gabe's voice undergoes an unexpected transformation, and why two people have been running around a 'wall of death' in Italy. Also, send your favorite SAD SONG to su@dw.com - and let us know why you listen to it?

Your body image, ice baths & sad music
Unhappy with your body? Deleting Instagram may help (if you're a woman). Also, forget 'cold tubs' if you want bigger muscles — and why do we consume content that makes us sad?
-
Avian flu, strangers & orgasms
How concerning is the spread of H5N1 from cows to humans? Also, random people know you better than you think, new research on why people make sounds during sex, and a listener... doesn't like a song we played.

Weekly roundup — Let's talk (to a whale)
If we wanted to talk to a gigantic underwater animal, how would we do that? Also, lose weight... by making friends!

Better & Better
The entire DW catalog is new to me this year and can't get enough. A great way to stay informed while avoiding the senseless and devisive rhetortic that is at every turn in the U.S. right now. Keep on keepin on.
Great Show has a whole new level
I love Spectrum because of the myriad of subjects touched upon, always interesting and relevant, always engaging. And now with Cyrus Farivar as the new host, it's better than ever. I have listened to his work for many years on The World and CBC and have always enjoyed his inquisitive style and friendly voice.
Horrible hosts
What indulgence! They get paid for doing this? They need to improve the content. The interview of the coworker whose husband got bitten by piranhas are not scientific. They also included the shower singing in the gym. Is it relevant? Pure indulgence of the hosts. I listened to a few episodes but just cannot carry on anymore.
