It Ends With Us (and a lawsuit)

Merry Christmas, girlie pops! What a year it's been.  This week, we unpack Blake Lively's lawsuit against It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni over sexual harassment and PR takedown accusations, which allegedly severely impacted Blake's public image.  The internet's favourite criminal, Luigi Mangione might just be a star after all with two documentaries in the making: one with Anonymous Content and Jigsaw Productions and the other with Stephen Robert Morse (best known for the Amanda Nox documentary on Netflix). We discuss the trailer for Summer House S9 and talk about Southern Charm's slow start to season 10 before reviewing Netflix's latest Christmas thriller, Carry On.  After a long year, not only did SZA finally release the SOS deluxe: LANA, but Caitlin also finished Sarah J Maas' series Throne of Glass, sharing her honest review of Kingdom of Ash and if the series is better than A Court of Thorns and Roses. Danika reviews her latest read, Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop by Hwang Bo-Reum. We wrap up our final episode of the year with a look back on our ins and outs and goals for 2024, setting new ones for 2025 with Caitlin's pop culture predictions for the year.   Get your hands on Delulu merch: https://thedeluludiariespod.theprintbar.com/   Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr   Watch the episode in full on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UqhxjHXUKnY

    Wicked

Happy festive season folks!  This week on the pod, we dive into the latest on Dan Schnider's pending defamation suit against the creators of the documentary Quiet on Set, the star-studded cast lineup for Christopher Nolan's upcoming film and the recent drama surrounding Kate Forster and Australian clothing brand Sabbi. Over the weekend, Caitlin went and saw the film adaptation of the musical Wicked starring Cynthia Ervio, Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey and Ethan Slater. She shares her honest thoughts on the film as a non-theatre fan who has never seen Wicked. Caitlin also reviews the 2019 Greta Gerwig film Little Women, starring Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Timothee Chalamet and Saoirse Ronan. Danika, on the other hand, has got a head start on Christmas movies for 2024, having watched the 2024 film Red One, starring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Chris Evans and Lucy Liu. She also reviews one of Lindsay Lohan's latest Netflix Christmas films, Our Little Secret. Our December book club pick has officially been announced! We are reading Zoe Foster Blake's Things Will Calm Down Soon and share our first thoughts on the book.   Get your hands on Delulu merch: https://thedeluludiariespod.theprintbar.com/   Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr   Watch the episode in full on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UqhxjHXUKnY

Love is Blind: Season 7 Reunion

Happy Monday, yappers! This week, we dive into discussing the Instagram post that broke up the coolest couple around, Zoe Kravitz and Channing Tatum.  The Love is Blind season 7 reunion dropped last Thursday, so we recap it couple by couple, including Marissa's Mum and her tearjerking speech for Ramses, Hannah and Nick D's ongoing public spat, and the truth about Tyler and his children. We then review Netflix's new film Don't Move: a thriller about a killer who injects a woman with a paralytic agent and how she must run, fight and hide before her body completely shuts down, and The Remarkable Life of Ibelin: a Netflix documentary about the secret life of a young World of Warcraft gamer is vividly reimagined when his online friends contact his family after his death. Caitlin also shares her first thoughts on the new Australian drama series Territory and the uncanny similarities to Yellowstone.  Our book review of the week is Emily Henry's Funny Story: a shimmering, joyful new novel about a pair of opposites with the wrong thing in common. You can see our live thoughts and take part in the discussion in our brand new book club on Fable!    Get your hands on Delulu merch: https://thedeluludiariespod.theprintbar.com/   Follow us on socials: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thedeluludiariespod TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@thedeluludiariespod Danika's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/danikarbrown Caitlin's Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/caitlinsltr   Watch the episode in full on YouTube: https://youtu.be/UqhxjHXUKnY
