Sunday Dose of Hope: Close Your Eyes

Sunday Dose of Hope: Close Your Eyes

Your facial nerve allows you to close your eyes when you need to. And so does hope.
    Good morning my friend!
Today’s dose of hope is a story from my new book, Hope Is the First Dose. Click on the button above to hear the audio version. Paid subscribers can also check your email for a video version of the episode.
If you don’t like to listen, here’s a link to the PDF transcript you can read. (Note: these transcripts are computer generated and aren’t perfect. I noticed it transcribed Kearney, Nebraska as “Carney,” but it’s pretty close overall).
In the transcript and the episode, you will learn that the facial nerve allows to make most of your facial expressions, and allows you to close your eyes and smile. Here’ why that’s so important after we face TMT in our lives.
Here’s a few other doses of hope for you this week!
    * A great reflection on hope from our friend, the wonderful podcaster/blogger Katherine Singer.
    * A terrific post about the threads he saw in the arc of my three-book journey from the Iraq War to Hope from Dr. Jon Swanson.
    * An opportunity to sponsor or spread the word about our friend Kristin Smedley’s powerful children’s book, What I Can Be Is Up to Me.
    * Our friend Tommy Walker has released the epic, orchestral masterpiece he’s been working on for over two years! Spend 7 minutes with Tommy today worshiping with He Is the Lord!

Powerful Show

Dr Lee Warren I just found your show about a week ago and I literally cried the whole way home in the car listening to you talk about your son Mitch. I lost my son also in 2010, so I felt every word you were saying. I absolutely love your Podcast and I’ve been binging on them even on days I am not at my best mentally. Thank you for what you do God bless you and your family.

So good so helpful ❤️

Wow is all I can say. I’ve just begun to listen over the last week. And what a story he has to tell of how he his heart has mended from tragedy thru hard work and allowing God to lead him. Every episode I’ve listened to has been incredibly meaningful and helpful in learning how our thoughts can help us recover or continue to hurt us. Thank you for sharing your journey dr warren.

So good!

I found him from an interview he did on another podcast and I’ve been hooked since. He has so much knowledge and wisdom. One thing he does different from so many people is tell you how to actually apply what he’s talking about. He gives bite sized steps and awesome examples.
