The Edge of the Road Podcast

Actually, I'm a MyFord Touch owner-to-be as I've had my 2012 Ford Focus with MyFord Touch on order since June 2, 2011. While waiting for the car, I discovered this podcast and have found it very interesting and educational as well. But be warned: you may find yourself getting frustrated at times right along with Len. I highly recommend you give this podcast a try. September 3, 2011 followup. I had plenty time to do a lot of reading and learning about MFT before getting my new Focus, but it was only this podcast that helped me with my first MFT problem. MFT worked beautifully for the first 4 days and then, while running a number of errands, I came out to the car & started it only to find that the lighted white screen stayed that way. Nothing! So I tried one of the things Len mentioned, namely turning off the car and opening and closing the door as if I was leaving. Got in and started the car again and ... still just the lighted white screen! First thought was "back to the dealer on day 4?" But I then remembered Len said how, waiting a while, it would reboot by itself, so I drove to my next errand. When I came out what did I find this time? A BLACK screen! Did I panic? No. Len said to be patient and give it time to self-correct (or something like that). After a few minutes what did it do? Rebooted and it has been perfect ever since! If not for this podcast, I wouldn't have known to patiently wait and would have immediately called my dealer for a service appointment.
