The Effect of COVID - 19 on the Environment w/ Janet Kaehms

On the 4th episode of the Parth and Pratham Podcast Dublin High School Teacher Janet Kahems joins the group. Janet Kaehms is an AP Environmental Science teacher at Dublin High School who is also a passionate swimmer and hiker. She discusses how she got into teaching, the importance of hands-on learning, and how she embraced distance learning forced by COVID - 19.  Kaehms explains that as a science teacher it is difficult to conduct lab experiments at home - where not all students have adequate equipment. Kaehms then goes onto discuss the overwhelming environmental crisis and whether young people have the ability to solve it.
