My 22 yr old son was diagnosed with T1 a few days ago and it’s been an overwhelming couple of days. I have 2 nephews - my son’s first cousins on both sides of the family so I thought I knew a little. I thought wrong. This podcast was informative and entertaining. I’m having my entire family listen and will continue listening to more episodes.

While not a diabetic Ben is my nutritionist and strength and conditioning coach. I can’t say enough about how he has changed my life I simply listen to what he tells me and my transformation has been incredible. I can’t enough say how everyone with a health condition needs to meet Ben. You are my hero B

I got it in June of 1958. When I went back to school in September. I had to bring bottles with me so that the doctor could test it every month that was humiliating to say the least! Hated it! I was skinny like olive oil, and I have a lot of positive things to say about it I am the oldest person that I know that has this disease. For 64 years I’ve been a type 1 diabetic! I have a lot more to say as I have not died as my friends have. I was 10 years old as my doctor told my parents I had a chance to live another 5 to 10 years if I was “lucky”. I loved all your episodes! I have listened to many of them over again. Thank you for doing this! Having a difficult time writing this. Hope I can get back to this!!!
