Overcoming Uncertainty with Effective Scenario Planning Methods

Overcoming Uncertainty with Effective Scenario Planning Methods

Today I’m visiting Vienna, Austria. Yes, that’s right the home of Sigmund Frued Weiner Schnitzel and the Danube, but I’m not here for any of that. Today we are chatting with our guest Ms. Ursula Eysin.

Ms. Eysin used to work as a production manager, moderator, and presenter in theater, opera, film & TV before becoming a passionate technology consultant and communication professional.

As a sinologist she’s fluent in Mandarin and several other languages. Ursula’s broad knowledge and experience enabled her to not only develop new business ideas, but to also create the right story, vision and action steps around it.

She is an expert in the strategic future process “scenario thinking”, the creation of new business models, innovation, technology transfer, business development, and strategic communication.

Besides all of the above, Ursula serves as an Expert Evaluator with the European Commission, mentors various Austrian and international startups, gives lectures at several universities, and writes the monthly column "Code Red" for the Austrian technology magazine E-Media.

And she has recently started a podcast under the same name.

TEAM ET among the many topics you will hear Ursula and I discussing today, we’ll be speaking about a project she was involved on associated with Kenyan government and 4 creatively titled scenarios - Roaring Lions, Abandoned Buffalos, White Elephants and Dying Rhinos.

This is an in-depth discussion around strategic thinking and planning, so please ready yourself as you join Ursula and me with our discussion that forces us to look 5, 10 and even 20 years into the future and practice of the art of Scenario Planning.

As well as being an entrepreneur, Daniel is a #1 bestselling author with his book titled:
“The Cure for Mediocrity: Create Wealth, Achieve Freedom, and Live the World-class Lifestyle.”
Incredibly he released this book at the age of 17 – that’s 7 years ago and is currently considering producing an updated version.
From dropping out of high school and being involved in crime and drug abuse to now being the founder of Passion 4 Achievement, Daniel leads an organization helping thousands of entrepreneurs across the world maximize performance in and out of business.
He is obsessed with personal growth, entrepreneurship, and the relationship between them.
He believes everyone can build their version of a world-class life, and he aims to help as many entrepreneurs as possible achieve exactly that.
Daniel does this primarily through helping entrepreneurs optimize their productivity, focus, energy levels, and systems / routines in and out of business, so they can scale without the bad stress, overwhelm, burnout, and wasted potential.

Revolutionizing Learning with AI: The Future of Education

Revolutionizing Learning with AI: The Future of Education

Today I’m morphing into an AI bot popping up in cities across Europe and the UK in an effort to keep pace with our guest Ms. Juliette Denny.

Juliette is a learner engagement expert with almost 20-years of experience innovating in the learning tech space.

She has an unrivalled passion for learner engagement and offers unparalleled insight when it comes to learning and development best practice.

She is considered a pioneer and an expert in applying gamification and social functionality to online learning.

Her vibrant talks are packed full of statistics, case studies and actionable take-aways and are designed to ensure you come away with new insight or a fresh perspective.

And TEAM ET, like me I’m confident you will be able to vouch for that claim, after listening to this conversation.

A recipient of some 150 industry awards for the work her team has performed over the past decade, she has now turned her attention to revolutionizing education with new AI Learning pedagogies.

When asked why she is so passionate about this her reply is “Because the future belongs to the curious.”

To support this venture Juliette is now heading up the company called Iridescent Technology and I swear the colour of Juliette’s hair is purely coincidental not a marketing promo.
TEAM ET please join Juliette and me with “the future of personalized learning has arrived and it’s called Coeus AI”

BTW as a footnote for the Learned:
During our discussion you’ll hear us refer to Bloom’s Taxonomy – more specifically Juliette is referring to the Cognitive Learning Domain within the Taxonomy and her new AI learning platform’s capabilities to bridge the lower and higher levels of that domain – THROUGH DEMONSTRATION AND ARCHING between applying and analyzing.
