My Favorite Podcast!
I found this podcast after reading Matt’s Sunlit Lands books and his Narnia reread articles on tor.com. I appreciate their perspectives on the various topics around deconstructing and reconstructing your faith and have learned so much! And of course the “fascinating” items they share each week have been great recommendations for movies, tv, and books to read!
a solid mix of meaningful and trivial
I appreciate how they navigate complex topics of faith and culture. Their approach to these conversations is unique and refreshing and I think this manner and type of dialogue is what the world needs right now. It encourages and challenges me to think critically about things that matter.
It has made me laugh countless times. And even cry a few. But it has yet to make me laugh until I cry, so this is my one complaint. (Pod producers: consider this a challenge!)
Honest, deep, raw, and also hilarious
This podcast is such a gift. It faces tough stuff head on. It engages both the mind and the heart. There is none of that faux juxtaposition of science and faith. Nor is there that slimy demonization of all things “secular.” The hosts name all good as of God. And my mercy, they are witty and fun. Love listening!
