After each of my pregnancies I, too, struggled with losing my postpartum pooch, low energy levels and didn’t know how to regain my strength back. As a fitness lover, I craved working out like I did before having all those babies, but found that my body just wasn’t cut out for high-intensity workouts. And without having healed fully from pregnancy, I was an injury waiting to happen. I finally realized in order to fix my mommy tummy and repair my core strength I needed to go back to the basics of my physical therapy training and work on my inner core muscles first. I just listened to the most recent episode about working out after a c-section and I found it so helpful! While I’ve had two c-sections, and it has been a couple of years since my last one, we are considering adding another child to our family and I will likely need to have another c-section. I felt so unprepared after my other two, that I really struggled and still struggle today with core strength! I feel more prepared if there is a next time, and now I just want to binge listen to every episode! Super excited to learn more!

Oh my goodness I am so glad I found Jena’s podcast!! As a mom of three who has struggled with weak pelvic floor and postpardum “mom tummy” I find her simple solutions easy to understand and fit in with my busy schedule. She is incredibly knowledgeable but has an amazing way of communicating things in a way even a mom brain can understand. She is your new secret weapon if your wanting to get your core back in top notch shape while still enjoying motherhood.
