This is my favorite podcast…
However, when Warren Pretorius ranted that those who say “all lives matter” instead of “black lives matter” “don’t get (their white privilege)” I turned off that podcast … the only one I didn’t listen to all the way through…
Maybe his comment is in the context/zeitgeist of apartheid SA?… however it makes no sense in contemporary America… this kind of apology breeds the cult of victimology which is scarring to all people…
Is there racism? … sure there are racists both black and white and everything in between… but is there systemic racism?… NO… except for affirmative action…
We are all God’s children… immutable characteristics like skin color are irrelevant… so to borrow from MLK, let’s be judged not by the color of our skin, but the content of our character…
