Best of lists. Top 100s. Top 5 guitarists you never heard of, Greatest bands in the history of the universe and time and space and whatever....the internet is full of lists and a lot of the time it's always the same records, by the same bands and artists and I rarely listen to any of them

So I sat down to make my own list of 25 which quickly became 50, then 60 and finally after about 15 minutes I stopped on 108. You won't find many of them in the Rolling Stone Top 500 or a Kerrang Top 50 but they're a good representation of the music that gets me going.
