    The Creation: Day 3- Creating Space, Place and Yield

    In this podcast episode, we piggyback off of Day 2 and enter into Day 3 of the creation where the waters are gathered together to allow for the dry land to appear. This organization provides space and place for a planting of seeds that yield grass, herbs, trees and fruit. As we ponder on how to apply this concept to our own lives, we see that it is perhaps not as easy as it seems to intentionally create the space for what we want. We may have seeds of dreams that we would like to plant, but the high and low tides of life knock us off balance. That which we are yielding may not always match up with the seed of desire in our hearts. As we learn to accept every aspect of our lives instead of resenting the "high tides", we can find hidden sand dollars of truth and exclaim as God did, "It is good."

    The Creation: Day 2- Water Water Everywhere

    In this podcast, we dive into Day 2 of the creation where the waters were divided from the waters and the firmament appeared. We reflect on how important water and hydration is both to our earth and our own bodies, and we liken that to our goals, dreams and intentions. Belief may ebb and flow, but as long as the tide is still coming in we carry nutrients to our dreams and carry toxic thoughts and energy away from them. We learn the difference between praying for rain and praying rain (see Gregg Braden's book The Isaiah Effect) and discover that a powerful way to give life to our dreams is to bring them forward to the present as if they are already happening.

    The Creation: Day 1- Let There Be Light

    In this episode we take a look into the creation of the world to find patterns and examples of creation that we can use in our own lives. We gain knowledge that we do not have to start from scratch, but rather we have everything we need to successfully create the life we want. All we need to do is organize it in our own unique way. We look at the power of our words and thoughts and how they play into our belief in ourselves and the things we create. We recognize that our acceptance of what we create and how we label it affects the creation process, either stifling it or enhancing it. We also learn to divide the light from the darkness in our lives as we gain awareness over what is creating each for us. Tap in to creation's laws and create what you want in 2022.

    The Grocery Store: Shopping for our Intangible Values

    In today's episode, we will prepare our minds for setting intentions and goals for the coming year by getting clear on our intangible values. We will compare the different styles of grocery shopping to the different approaches we have of honoring our core values. Do you intentionally meal plan and create a list of ingredients? Do you browse around hoping that what you need will find you? Do you go in hungry and find that everything looks good? Do you go in for one thing and come out with a bunch of other stuff and forget the thing you came in for?     In this episode, our emotions are likened to a toddler trying to get attention. They will do what they have to do to get it, even if it is perceived as negative. Acknowledging the emotion and addressing it, getting on its level, describing it, calming it and communicating with it is key to creating a relationship of trust within yourself. When our emotions know we are going to take care of them, they no longer need to kick and scream and bite. We in turn recognize that all emotions are here to help and serve a purpose in our lives.

    The Salesperson: When Emotions Come Knocking

    In this episode we compare and contrast our responses to a salesperson knocking at the door to our responses to emotion. We dive into each of the following responses: avoiding, resisting, reacting and allowing. We learn that the healthiest way to process the emotion is to invite it in. Acknowledging the perceived negative emotion actually allows for it to move through us quicker so we can create space for an emotion that we desire to feel.
