Faith and Feminism

You are my sanity. Also, it’s never okay to beat a woman to the point where she requires hospital emergency room treatment just because she voted differently from her family. Only a perfectly Christ-like man could be safely entrusted with headship over the women in his family, and no man on Earth is perfectly Christ-like. This toxic and all-too-frequently used excuse that provides cover and sanction for abuse needs to go. It should have gone long ago.

My MIL gave me Captivating because she had “heard you mention feminism”…and I knew of the authors, I didn’t want to waste my time reading, and I am so thankful you broke it down! Well done ladies and keep up the good work.

I LOVE the content provided in this podcast! Always such thought provoking and timely conversations with insightful guests. My one complaint is that the audio is really difficult to get past sometimes. I have to turn it up as loud as my car or phone will go and even then I still strain to hear. Unfortunately, it’s distracting from a great podcast.
