    Workroom Confidential with Katie Rosenfeld

In this episode we sit down with Katie Rosenfeld, the Boston-based designer behind some of our favorite rooms. Known for her no-holds-barred approach to pattern, color, and layering, Katie is a master at achieving that oft elusive zone where a room is both editorial and livable. Supply-Chain Me a River

New sofa still  in production? Carpet stuck somewhere on the high seas? We feel you. One of the many unpleasant by-products of the pandemic is the global supply chain crisis. This unprecedented interruption in the ability to “get stuff” has many industries reeling, including the design world. In this episode we tackle “the why” of this problem, and explain how our business has been uniquely impacted. We also discuss real-time solutions for designers and consumers alike.

Love this Podcast

I stumbled across this podcast and instantly enjoyed it. It’s one of the only podcast that has designers that work with older homes and discusses true renovations and design. I think it’s because they are in the east coast and have renovated themselves.
It is fantastic to hear!

Could be good!

Great content and guests, but the hosts seem to really struggle to let a guest answer a question or complete thought. The Paloma Contreras
Episode was so sad because she is such a brilliant woman and has such a hugely successful business, but they barely let her speak. Obviously, they have a lot of great thoughts and ideas and are super fun also, so maybe they standalone episodes are better where they aren’t trying to do an interview, but they just share their own thoughts.

Favorite Podcast

I’ve binged every episode, and as a designer myself, this is the honest, transparent and refreshing perspective that our industry needs. Suzanna and Pamela don’t take themselves too seriously, all while offering honest, real advice on design that anyone could relate to. Looking forward to more episodes!
