Bull loves Shakespeare!

I recently binged the entire series of 182 episodes dedicated to Hamlet with my Arden Hamlet in front of me the entire way. I’ve seen Hamlet performed on stage and screen several times, but this experience blew my mind. Mind you, I have a PhD in philosophy and a JD from an American law school. In the 30-something hours of these episodes, this text exploded as a pivotal moment in Western ideas—from metaphysics to ethics to politics to psychology. Hanratty’s attention, line by line, to each syllable of the text made the it live and breathe. This was a formative experience in my education. What an extraordinary way to read this most extraordinary tragedy!!!
