F I N A L L Y
Ah geez, there's finally a podcast for those of us that both love hammocks & are mildly to strongly turned on by two strangers fighting about an altercation involving a hammock from twenty years ago. I realize you may think that's a very specific fetish, but we are out there & we will no longer be silent!
I'm very very very excited to discover where this sexy ride will take Jonashan and Geoffrory "Baloney Boy" to as they discover each other's deep seeded feelings of betrayal and friendship!
The hammockiest podcast of them all!
A Modern Day Moby Dick
Perhaps no greater struggle is portrayed in English literature than the battle of man versus nature; a force greater than our human frailties beating upon the brow of the Everyman. So here we find two brothers, engaged in eternal struggle over a force that transcends human understanding into a natural force, a force of god, a powerful and directed entity outside of reason. Perhaps the riddle will never be solved, but maybe Jeff just got upset about a hammock and it's not a big deal, just accept it dude. 5 stars.
IN THE EVENT OF HAMMOCK DISASTER
Fate has ordained that the men who went to the hammock to explore in peace will stay on the hammock to rest in peace.
These brave men, Johnny Klipp and Jeffrey Alvarez, know that there is no hope for their recovery. But they also know that there is hope for mankind in their sacrifice.
These two men are laying down their lives in mankind's most noble goal: the search for truth and understanding.
They will be mourned by their families and friends; they will be mourned by the nation; they will be mourned by the people of the world; they will be mourned by a Mother Earth that dared send two of her sons into the unknown.
In their exploration, they stirred the people of the world to feel as one; in their sacrifice, they bind more tightly the brotherhood of man.
In ancient days, men looked at the stars and saw their heroes in the constellations. In modern times, we do much the same, but our heroes are epic men of flesh and blood.
Others will follow, and surely find their way home. Man's search will not be denied. But these men were the first, and they will remain the foremost in our hearts.
For every human being who looks up at the hammock in the nights to come will know that there is some corner of another world that is forever mankind.
