I love how these two speak what’s on their minds regarding the case. Despite how unsettling or gruesome the details may be. They bring some interesting insights that help me open my mind to all the parties that could have been involved or at least considered. And furthermore, keep it in a modern perspective so we all aren’t so naive to jump to the first conclusion... well done!

The Silk Road did not allow CP, guns, hits, etc. They had rules about not allowing these things and had a rule that you couldn’t sell anything that could be used to cause harm to others. You bring up CP and hit men a lot. And I think you’re mixing up Silk Road and Silk Road 2.0 and the other replicas to follow. Ross’s charges are based off non-violent convictions. He was never prosecuted for causing harm or bodily injury. No victim was named at the trial. And, actually, the “first victim” that’s death was set up by the govt… is actually a Free Ross supporter and has made a public statement about his support. Also, Variety Jones is Roger Thomas Clark. And Smedley is most likely Mike Wattier. Ross wasn’t in it for the money… he lived in an apartment with 3 roommates who chastised him constantly for being broke and not having a real career. They were all in school for professional careers, attorneys, etc. He didn’t flaunt his money. His room and apartment were bare and empty. He didn’t buy himself extravagant thing. He didn’t really buy himself anything at all. You make him sound like he was in it for money. That’s the last reason he was doing it.

A friend brought my attention to this podcast a few weeks back & I am so glad I decided to check it out. Kellie & Michael play off of each-other very well, I’m sure that has something to do with them being siblings. The stories they choose to cover have all been very interesting, I’ve not heard of a lot of them before now. Was shocked when I listened to the episode involving Republic, could not believe I didn’t know about it 🤣. Kellie cracks me up, she does not sugarcoat anything off. Some of her comments are so unexpected, but are usually spot on with what’s going through my head . This podcast is definitely worth checking out . Would love to hear your take on Teresa Halbach’s murder, maybe a future episode 🤔?
