A friend of mine suggested I take a listen so I finally listened. I appreciate your commentary on our current situation. You seem to be fair and accurate. I would like to stress, however, that most of the people I live with and spend time with would be considered progressive and we are not all feeling hopeless. More accurately, we are feeling anger, but we call our legislators, we protest and we stay on top of what is happening. We also keep reminding each other that despair is privilege and so we work really hard to not get stuck there. But thank you, I look forward to other episodes.

Discovered you all during the pandemic, as our church community was crumbling, in response to COVID restrictions and the murder of George Floyd. I greatly appreciate the community you have created! Thank you! You have helped me stay hope-filled and not so alone in the way I understand how God is asking me to be in the world.

I come to this podcast occasionally for a differing viewpoint. But what I find is a group of whiny, negative individuals who obviously think very highly of their own thoughts. I expect better but it rarely happens.
