Insights and Hope

I have learned so much from this podcast and have great respect for the work Audrey does to help our horses and educate the owners. To learn so many of our horses who have been written off and deemed broken are in fact able to heal is inspiring. I wish all vets, trainers, body workers, etc. open up to the possibilities that there are ways to to rehab and treat our equine partners and for us as owners to always keep advocating and asking questions. Thank you for the work that you do and taking time out to bring this information and these incredible stories forward.
Talks down to the audience and fellow veterinarians

As another veterinarian who takes an integrative approach to sports medicine and rehab I was surprised to hear her podcast on lead changes in which was much more than “direct” and came off as cocky. Even if she was a boarded specialist this comes off really big headed and rude but after looking her up she does not hold any additional qualifications and must just think she is knows more than everyone else. Still, the episode was not very informative and seemed as if she was withholding proprietary information which is certainly nothing special from what she was eluding to.
Thank you! Thank you!

I am so happy to have stumbled upon this podcast! I was in tears listening to the first episode. I have fought tooth and nail for my horse’s health the past 8 years. He’s never been normal since the age of 5. Finally diagnosed this year, PPID/IR, with help of wonderful vet who listened to my concerns and observations. Thank you Dr. DeClue for listening to horses and advocating for them. Thank you for educating other professionals and owners. Looking forward to more content!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for sharing your expertise and making this wealth of knowledge available to horse owners. I came across this podcast while I was searching for help in figuring out my horse’s body lameness. I know my horse and knew he was having back pain. After working with several vets who focused solely on his limbs, I was super frustrated and started doing my own research. This is how I stumbled across this podcast. The information I learned has helped me be a better advocate for my horse and I realized just how important it is for me to learn as much as I can about body lameness, back issues, and rehabilitation protocols. This podcast was instrumental in me getting my horse on a path to comfort and good health.
