California's AB890 and radiology
In this episode I discuss the California Radiological Society's efforts to change AB890, a bill regarding independent practice for nurse practitioners with Dr. Benjamin Franc. He discusses how the CRS approached getting language within the bill changed and how that was different than the usual approach taken when working against the passage of these bills.
If you have questions for Dr. Franc, he can be reached at benster@stanford.edu -
Private equity in radiology
Many early career radiologists have negative views of private equity backed groups in radiology, but are there positives to some of these groups? Are they all the same? In this episode we speak with Dr. Elizabeth Hawk of Radiology Partners and Dr. Dan Ortiz an associate in private practice and published author on the subject to get two very different perspectives.
