There are parts of the podcast where I have gone beyond what is usually assessed in our Exams. However, I do so as I know those sections will be part of important lessons in future episodes.

In the next episode, we will discuss the entirety of 1.4 which is membrane structure to help explain cellular transport.

In this episode, I discuss what's inside Cells (the ultrastructure) and differentiate between Prokaryotic and Eukaryotic (animal & plant) cells. I also talk about the endosymbiotic theory its origins and the evidence to support it.

I am planning to start an Instagram page, dedicated to this podcast that will be used to help notify you guys of new episodes and share new and interesting scientific discoveries.

In this episode, I discuss the unifying principle of biology and expound on its implications. I also talk about the origins of cells as that is integral to our understandings therefore I feel it should be presented in the first episode.

Some of you may have noticed that I did not talk about endosymbiosis you are right. that will be presented in the next episode where it will be better suited in combination with our discussion of the ultrastructure of the cell.  

Welcome to the IB Biology Experience, a new podcast from Krish Malhotra 



My plan in creating this podcast is to discuss IB Biology: all the topics in varying order and at different stages, linking to real examples rather than just a plain description. I will also discuss tools you can use to help memorise the content effectively and score well on the exam. If you're not doing the IB this podcast is still a great introduction to science and you can learn from it, I will explaining everything from the start. 

Upcoming episode will begin with the origin of cells, their basic structure and cell laws.
