The Importance of Love in the Childhoods of Anakin and Luke

Idiot's Array: A Star Wars Podcast

Anakin Skywalker and Luke Skywalker experienced love in very different ways during their childhoods. As a young child, Anakin felt genuine love from his mother Shmi, but when he reached the Jedi Temple he didn't feel that same love from the adults around him. Luke was raised by a loving (and sometimes stern) aunt and uncle, and then felt loved and valued by the new friends he met later on. How did the ways they were loved influence Anakin's and Luke's destinies? We take a deep dive on Episode 229.

We begin the show by discussing the new trailer for Skeleton Crew.

We would be honored (and feel loved) if you would join us!
