Welcome to the (in)courage podcast! We are all different ages, in different life stages, and we come from different cultures and churches, but our common thread is the hope of Jesus. Each weekday we meet you right where you are as one of our writers shares what’s going on in her everyday life and how God’s right in the middle of it all. We bring our joys and struggles equally so that you can feel less alone, and be empowered by the hope Jesus gives. We hope you’ll bring us along with you on your morning walks, driving to the grocery store, waiting in the preschool pickup line, alone in your kitchen, or as you wind down for the evening. Wherever you join us, you’re welcome here, and we’re honored to be a part of your day. Read our daily posts at incourage.me. The (in)courage podcast is brought to you by DaySpring. For over 50 years, DaySpring has created quality cards, books, and gifts that help you live your faith. Find out more at DaySpring.com.

Melissa Zaldivar: What It's Like to Be Single on a Sunday
"So often, single people say they don't feel welcome in the church, so I want to give you this antidote: welcome them. Scripture reminds us in Ephesians 4 that we are all part of the body of Christ, but sometimes we miss out on one another and it actually means that the church is not as strong as it could be. If a member of the body is feeling disconnected, it's really vital that we make sure a connection is made. Before a single friend has a chance to even process the awkwardness of finding ...

Jennifer Dukes Lee: For Anyone Who Thinks She’s Failing
"Maybe you’ve been like me — caught between your grand plans and your actual life. Maybe you’ve been feeling a little panicky that what you intended to do, simply hasn’t gotten done. Maybe what we all really need right now is to remember that God has this all under control. We get to simply pray, 'God, help me to make choices today that honor Your plans for my life.' Amen!"Leave a comment for Jennifer: https://incourage.me/?p=240603Find the YouTube playlist mentioned in the episode: https://y...

Ligia Andrade: Answer This: Is Jesus Truly Enough?
"God's invitation to me and to you is a wholehearted surrender. Like a robber caught red-handed, arms flailing to the sky, finally giving up, we too have the opportunity to confess that we’re a wild mess and accept that Jesus is enough; the cross is enough. We must reach the end of ourselves, where we can wholeheartedly proclaim, 'You can have all this world, but give me Jesus.'"Leave a comment for Ligia: https://incourage.me/?p=240450--The DaySpring Summertime Clearance Sale is h...

Michele Cushatt: A Friend of Sinners
"Jesus doesn't simply tolerate interruptions and the people who make them. He welcomes them. Jesus finds the people most unwanted and out of place, and rather than wait for them to make a fuss, He pulls out a chair and offers them a seat. Why? Because they aren't an interruption to His plan — they are His plan. So am I. And so are you. Tax collectors and sinners, one and all."Leave a comment for Michele: https://incourage.me/?p=240382 --The DaySpring Summertime Clearance Sale is he...

Wonderful start to the day
My days do not start with the same routine each day. I have at least the time to listen to the daily encouragement while I make my tea or take my dog out. So far this has proven to be an easy addition to a daily unpredictable schedule.
Listen Every Morning!
I’ve made this brief podcast part of my morning quiet time. I highly recommend it along with your Bible.
Me too!!!!
Seriously thank you sister is Christ for being raw honest and real. I can feel so alone on most days thinking there’s some thing wrong with me… Hearing your words this morning was like honey to my soul :-)Please remember that you are not alone and the topic of mental health needs to be talked about just as much as the topic of physical health, remember folks they intricately work together as one. God is using you in so many ways… thank you so much for putting that pep back in my step and the inspiration back in my heart to not give up and to love myself fully for whom God made me. I can’t imagine how many others you spoke too today… I can only imagine… :-) So many God winks everywhere love it…love you beautiful ladies… sisters in Christ… keep shining for Jesus. And again I can’t thank you enough for your podcast… every day hitting play is like a breathe of fresh air straight from Jesus.
