Crazy story time! 



Personal and spiritual development can take you down some pretty weird adventures. 



Some of them include being high on psychedelics and plant medicines with people you’d never expect to meet. 



This is a story about the first time I did LSD and Wachuma while in the last Himalayan mountain Buddhist kingdom of Bhutan in 2016. 



I was very new on my spiritual journey after leaving a life of organized crime and addiction, and I was literally trying to find myself while traveling to spiritual places around Asia. 



The thing was, I was still a bit of a mess. My relationship to money, sex, and drugs was still about as stable as a newborn giraffe.



Luckily, I was with a group of fellow misfits, weird spiritual seekers, and a tech millionaire in one of the most spiritually charged places on the planet.  



This is a tale about some of the crazy shit that happens to a group of weirdos looking for magic in the world while trying to find themselves in the process.  



The story ends with me having an incredible spiritual experience in a monastery in ways you would never expect, wait for the twist in this story.

Anthony Engelen is a bad motherfucker, he’s a ONE Championship fighter with 17 years of MMA experience, and 6 months of new fatherhood experience!

Born and raised in The Netherlands, with an Indonesian father and an English mother, Anthony Engelen has been an avid athlete all his life. He has been practicing multiple types of martial arts such as Taekwon-do, Judo, and Dutch Kickboxing. 



But Anthony’s passion lies within Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Mixed Martial Arts, which he started to practice over 15 years ago at the Fight & Power Academy in the Netherlands, home of Dutch world champion Alistair Overeem. 



From the start of his martial arts journey, Anthony has won multiple grappling and BJJ tournaments in the Netherlands and Indonesia, where he has settled permanently since 2012. 



Aside from being a BJJ, MMA, and Dutch Kickboxing coach, he is a pro-MMA fighter representing Bali MMA.
