I don't have much time to read and this podcast motivated me within a few episodes to pick up a book again. Full of stories, playful anecdotes, witty remarks, fantastic reviews, insightful interviews, and professional responses from an actual librarian. This podcast covers everything. Full disclosure, I have known Dave and Andrew since Middle school. No one tells a story better than Dave and no on delivers a dead pan witty response better than Andrew. Laura is the creamy frosting on the cupcake, with her sonorous voice and the best recommendations. Highly recommend this podcast to save time searching for your next book. Audiobooks, fiction, horror, noir, all genres except for non-fiction are covered. The trio has me hooked and searching the library for their recommended books. I look forward to each new episode. Excelsior!

I had to push a bike with a flat tire up and hill in below freezing temperatures to get to a bike shop and this podcast got me through! I recommend listening to t to get you through any tough challenges. It’s fun to listen too and I come away inspired to read more and read more variety!

Reviewing and hearing an audiobook each time in addition is a great idea! Being from Colorado, I enjoy they're Denver-based.

Love this new podcast! Such a delightful and insightful discussion and summary of recent reads. No spoilers but lots of intrigue that made me want to pick up some new books. I really appreciate hearing articulate recommendations for my next book. The camaraderie amongst these three is just fun!

I found my attention was grabbed and held with this discussion of books, many of which I have never heard of in my young life. I admit that I don’t share the passion for books or even audiobooks as do the creators of this podcast, however, their dialogue and format has peaked my interest on one of America’s favorite past times. I am almost thinking of ways to make time so that I can start on a book that is new to me. It is very possible that I could introduce an exercise program for the sole purpose of enjoying a new book. Thank you David Medicus, Laura Medicus and Andrew Dowd for sharing your insight and experiences on some of your favorite reads in a light, airy, and witty way. Dave-nothing personal but sounds like your reads are too complex for me! Also, work on that rim-shot!
