The Internet 3.0
The Internet: the most impactful invention of modern human history. It has transformed the way that we talk with each other, do business, educate and learn - even the way we think. But how did we get here? What were the choices, the experiments, and, yes, even the moments of blind luck that created the Internet we use today? And, more importantly, who are the innovators and disruptors that are building what we will use next? Hosted by podcast personality Zach Valenti with guest hosts Ryan Shea and Muneeb Ali, co-founders of Blockstack, "The Internet 3.0" brings you the stories of digital explorers on the frontier of decentralized protocols, cryptocurrencies, and other revolutionary technologies that are changing the face of the Internet forever. A Podcast About Where the Internet is Going
02/03/2019
I grew up in a time where this thing called the internet was just a starting phase and watched it grow to become something we seemingly can't live without and now have it on all of our various devices, including our TVs and cars! I like to think I'm pretty savvy when it comes to things internet-related and I like to stay up on where the future of the internet is headed. Fortunately, there’s this wonderful new podcast called Internet 3.0 that features the knowledge and talents of Zach Valenti (Wolf 359), Muneeb Ali (Blockstack), and Ryan Shea (Blockstack). Each episode features an interview with someone big in the world of the internet, including Albert Wenger (managing partner at Union Square Ventures), Brendan Eich (developer of Netscape and Mozilla Firefox), and most recently Bram Cohen (BitTorrent). Each episode lets the interviewee go into depth about where they think the internet is headed, what they are working on to make it better, and what the worst case scenario for the future might be. The show is fascinating and enlightening, and at times a little scary, and after each episode I come away feeling more knowledgeable about the internet, and always more hopeful about the future.
Has potential

The podcast has big potential. Great guests so far. Just need to get rid of the background music that interferes with being able to hear the guests on the show.
Really Informative Conversations

Some really accessible, wide-ranging talks on the history and future of the Internet without all the jargon. Zach, Ryan, and Muneeb ask really great questions. Definitely worth a listen if you're interested in the Internet!
WOW

It isn't just a tech show; there's plenty of discussion of history, society, people, and how it all fits together. But it's also definitely a satisfying tech meal, addressing the nuances of tech dev, the presences of movers and shakers, the business, and how all of THAT fits together. In short, it has that which so many shows of this type lack: PERSPECTIVE. And all of it brimming full of personality from the hosts. In short, if you are at all interested in the tech sphere a must-listen. Just the guests alone are worth the price of admission!
