Uncomfortable Conversations with Josh Szeps

Josh you didn’t seem to want the “uncomfortable conversation” with Sacha when she pinned you down on whether B was fired! First you fudged and said Yes. When Sacha asked On what grounds you backpedaled saying It was untenable. When she asked again Was she fired you protested If you’re going to pin me down on minutiae … How about truth and accuracy Josh instead of right wing talking points that pull in Substack money? Kudos Sacha!

Josh and Sam. This episode represents what's gone wrong with podcasts. The same group of people interviewing the same group of people and talking about that same group of people. Sam is not funny, but smart, Josh is not funny AND not smart.

I just listened to Josh and Katy’s chat. Their conversation/debate is what I have been craving in this current socio-political climate. I was incredibly impressed by both of their abilities to remain civil, find the common ground but also release honest opinions without centrist waffling. For Josh to toe off against a person who is fundamentally against his family/personal life is not only incredibly brave but fearless. I deeply admire his ability to discuss her beliefs and confront what is clearly at the core - religious doctrine disguised as advocacy. Thanks Josh for being brave and sticking up for every family out there that is “different”.

Josh is clearly highly intelligent but doesn’t push back on the left like he thinks he does. Overall, solid show I’ll continue to listen to. And like another person said- no on the Substack. Podcasters need to leverage this platform to make money elsewhere- we’re not paying to listen nor for “early access” and “full episodes”. Get out w that
