In this episode of The Chat, Alexa sits down with Dean Echambadi of D'Amore-McKim School of Business (DMSB) at Northeastern University to discuss the opportunity gap within the business world. Dean Echambadi explains to us what an inclusive economy is and how this will be the solution to not only closing the gender opportunity gap, but also achieving economic equality for Black, Asian and Latinx Americans all across the country. 

In this episode of The Chat, Alexa interviews Dean Elizabeth Hudson of the College of Arts, Media & Design, also known as CAMD. The conversation ranges from discussing Dean Hudson's career path, the misconceptions that come with pursuing a major in the Arts and how CAMD is initiating changes to increase women faculty members and mentors to cultivate an equal and secure environment for all of their students. They also discuss how important it is for all majors to be praised, not just majors relating to STEM.

During the conversation, Dean Sceppa discusses the importance of community outreach for the students within her college. By interacting, understanding and learning from the community in which you reside, you are creating a generation of students that set a place for everyone at their table.
