Wow! I am in awe! The Jackson Hole Connection has made me feel so much more connected to my community - its history, politics, environment, arts and business owners of all arenas. Host Stephan Abrams has so far produced 114 episodes. He has hosted such a wide and rich varierty of guests on his show. Are you curious about history of the valley? Plunge into Episode 58 - "Native American History in Jackson Hole" where Stephan interviews Ivan Posey, the leading member of the Wind River Reservation. In 48 minutes I learned so much about tribal relations, the Wind River Reservation and the way tribal traditions have been carried on in the Jackson Hole area. Are you curious about comedy and arts in the valley? Dive deep into Episode 112 - "A Modern Day Jackson Hole" to hear about Andrew Munz who published the book and musical "I Can Ski Forever" - a show that truly had the whole community talking about Munz and moments of hilarity in the musical for weeks. Stephan and Andrew also discuss the challenges Munz faced growing up in Jackson Hole as he questioned his sexual identity. Sometimes growing up in a town that often feels utopian can make those who struggle with mental health feel extra isolated. In Episode 67 - "Changing the Conversation on Mental Health and Suicide" Stephan interviews Youth Workers Specialist, Brian Kuhn "whose mission is to better educate people about suicide and desperation." I am so excited that I heard of Stephan's podcast and am eager to continue listening to all of his episodes. If you are looking to network or find inspiration within the community you found the right place. To many more hours catching up on these outstanding episodes! Cheers, Kat Bush
