3 Tips for Growing a Stationery Business

This one's for all you designers out there who want to start—or grow!—a thriving stationery business.

I started my business 8 years ago as a stationery designer and after 5 wonderful years of amazing clients, I decided to shift my focus and sell the company.

During those 5 years I learned SO much. I had no formal training or experience so I basically jumped in the deep end with two feet and figured things out as I went.

So now we're here so you can learn from my mistakes and also learn about things I wish I would've known about sooner.

But remember, there's so much value to be gleaned from every mistake and every win. Keep going. The hills and valleys are part of the journey. You've got this.

She’s the Best!

Jenna teaches me things I didn’t know that I needed to know. Things I never would have thought of. And she does it with warmth and kindness and humor. She has no ego. Self deprecating. I love it when she messes up and then laughs at herself. And she has a very generous spirit! Thanks, Jenna!

The Truth Behind Copying

Jenna Rainey is truly a jewel of an artist, person, teacher, and writer among many ordinary stones. This post as with all of her informative writings is very inspirational and truthful. I purchased her watercolor book to help me be a better teacher. She is not only a fantastic artist, but also a genuine person who really cares (so rare in our current world). Everything she writes/shares is useful and done in simple language that can be easily understood. Definitely worth reading! Keep up the good work!
