    The Importance of Humility in John Calvin. Burk Parsons (Calvin Conversations Series)

    Dr. Burk Parsons serves as Senior Pastor of Saint Andrew’s Chapel, and he is editor of Tabletalk, the monthly magazine of Ligonier Ministries where he has served since 1999. He is a Ligonier Ministries Teaching Fellow, and he is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church in America. Dr. Parsons holds his master’s and doctoral degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary. His dissertation is titled “The Missio Dei and the Church: Towards Fulfilling the Great Commission through Ordinary Means of Grace Ministry.” He is author of Why Do We Have Creeds?, editor of Assured by God: Living in the Fullness of God’s Grace and John Calvin: A Heart for Devotion, Doctrine, and Doxology, and cotranslator and coeditor of A Little Book on the Christian Life by John Calvin.  Join Matt and Burk as they discuss Calvin's relevance and impact for today.     Sam Ha is currently Theological Librarian and Curator of the Meeter Centre at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids where he is also a PhD candidate.
