The Keep Calm and Rock On Experience
"Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent." - Victor Hugo Music influences culture, inspires companionship, and creates tension. To love music is to eternally welcome it into your heart like a significant other. Often compelling, occasionally frustrating, yet forever entwined with your heart. The Keep Calm and Rock On Podcast has launched to provide a roundtable-type platform to discuss the way rock and roll and popular music has moved people for the last 50 years. Through it's creators Angelo, Michael and Jamie, listeners will be led on musical exploration of all topics rock and roll, the familiar and the foreign. Every two weeks, Keep Calm and Rock On will release a new episode that will focus on a rarely explored avenue of rock and roll. KCRO - as the show is sometimes referred to - can be viewed as a metaphysical look into a genre that is normally explored from audio or literary perspectives. Each of the show's hosts is an adult blend of longtime musician and contemporary historian. Join Angelo, Michael and Jamie in their quest to explain the musically unexplainable and attain rock and roll unattainable...The Keep Calm and Rock On Podcast!
These guys love rock and roll

These guys love rock and roll. You can feel it in every episode. Whether they are deliberating the differences between rock and roll vs rock music, or putting together a Mount Rushmore of the greatest fictional bands of all time, or interviewing legendary musicians that no one else is taking the time to talk to in this pop idol, 140-characters or less, what's next world. That's not to say that they are old classic rock curmudgeons. These are young dudes who grew up on old tunes. They appreciate the roots, the timeline, and the evolution of modern music as we know it. It's fun, it's great discussions, and it's essential for any fan of music who appreciates where we've been and where we're going. These guys love rock and roll. And if you don't love it already, they'll convince you.
Podcast Trio, The Triad of Rocking On

Let's get the obvious out of the way. They are musicians, they like music, they know music history and they want to reach out to music’s future to get a pulse and or to see if there will be one. They have had first class interviews with some of the most talented behind the scenes rock side men. The way my musical history developed, I couldn’t pick half these guys out of a lineup. They were very influential to the bands they played in and music today. Jamie, Angelo, and Michael bring the knowledge show after show. They take the time to hear their listeners and if there are questions/comments they address them in an upcoming shows. Their little way of making the audience feel part of it. I’m not going to sit here and break down each show, have a listen for yourself. You will learn things. Nils, GE, Dick Dale and others, great to hear their stories. Not to mention introducing their listeners to music we are unfamiliar with. Dick Dale may not see a penny of it, but I have downloaded about 2 albums worth off amazon. We’ve had several recent losses in the Rock and Roll Family and when time permits they have executed beautiful shows dedicated to them. Props on the Bowie show. I like to give a shout out to Bobby Gee’s segment we hear from time to time. Very knowledgeable as well and totally consider him part of the Podcast. Brings the old-school review. I follow them on Facebook and Twitter. I’m a real fan and give them grief(I hound them) and in this case I will give them props. Great show, great listen, open your mind and open your ears you won’t be disappointed. Oh btw, IT's FREE!
Great interviews!

These guys have landed some great guests and gotten the most out of them through solid preparation, insightful questions and a good sense of when to give the subject some time to expound. Can't wait to see what's next!
Great Start
