Reminds me of the bearded hipster bartender lecturing me about cool small batch bourbon. The Father John Misty lead in music, cultural references and edgy takes. It’s all derivative and pretentious and a distraction. Just be yourself man. You have genuine talent talking about basketball. Top 1%. Let that be enough. Stop trying to be cool. You are not cool. But you don’t need to be cool to be good.

This podcast has been a real struggle to stay engaged with compared to the mismatch. The Thanksgiving podcast in particular was hard to get through. The guest hosts tangent on things Hubie Brown is older than and the potential for obscure NBA statistics to excite him, was particularly rough. TBH those are the only things I can recall from that particular show, and I listened to it 4 hours ago. Not great Bob.

i was a huge mismatch fan but this podcast seems like 50 minutes of koc sniffing his own farts. i think if koc is going to be without verno he should have co-hosts that challenge each other rather than a couple of guys who just agree with everything
