    Today on the podcast we're welcoming Brian Dollar, who is a great friend of our host. Brian is a best-selling author and speaker.  He currently serves as Associate Pastor at First NLR in North Little Rock, Arkansas where he leads over 500 volunteers in nearly a dozen ministries. Brian has also authored “Talk Now and Later: How To Lead Kids Through Life’s Tough Topics” which reached #1 in the Christian Family category.  His most recent release, “I Blew It!” is a powerful book that provides practical steps for ministry leaders to move beyond their failures and rediscover God’s grace. In 1998, Brian founded High Voltage Kid's Ministry Resources, which creates cutting-edge, multi-media Elementary and Preschool Kids Church Curriculum.  These resources have been used in more than 15,000 churches around the world.  Brian and his wife, Cherith, have two amazing children – Ashton (son-in-law, Nick) and Jordan.  They currently reside in Sherwood, Arkansas.     Today we welcome Sean Silverii on the podcast. Sean has served as a youth pastor as well as other pastoral roles in the church. Sean now serves the Oregon Ministry Network as the Gen Now leader focused on children and youth ministry. Sean will share some great insight on how to transition our kids and build a birth to adulthood game plan. Sean has 3 kids and lives in Albany, OR.   The truth is we have to get transitions right when it comes to our children and youth ministries. There is a movement towards looking at birth to student ministries as one whole, instead of having silos in our kids and youth ministries. This movement has been coined “Gen Now Ministries." One of the most important aspects of next gen ministries is smooth and intentional transitions. These transitions happen at key points in a child’s life and it’s important that we strategically walk alongside our kids as they transition. The Kids Bible Experience is an in-app feature found on the home feed of the YouVersion Bible App and is designed to help children ages 7 - 11 develop a daily habit of engaging with God’s Word. To date, OneHope has reached more than 1.9 billion children around the world with the life-changing message of the gospel hope of Jesus.  Prior to joining OneHope, Matt spent 12 years as a Children’s Pastor at Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. He was also part of the ongoing development of the Elevate Children’s Curriculum that served churches around the world. Matt has a deep passion for connecting with children’s ministry leaders around the globe and inviting them to collaborate and innovate effective ways to help children and youth fall in love with God’s Word. She is former co-host of the “Today’s Family” TV show and has taught in the Department of Communications at North Central University. She has been writing, producing, and leading kids in worship for many years. Before she started Kids music she wrote music for some of Christian Music’s most well loved artists. In 2021 she won a dove for “Ready, Set, Go” one of her newest Little Praise Party projects.  Her music is being used in churches in 167 countries.
