The Know Fear Cast

I had the wonderful privilege of being a student of Mel’s. She is one the most intelligent, good natured, down-to-earth people I have ever had the good graces to meet. I’m probably a little biased. This is an excellent podcast except for some audio problems, but I suppose that they are doing the best they can with the resources that they have. The three of them combined have a staggering wealth of knowledge and incite. I hope they blow up big, they deserve it.

There’s A LOT to like about this podcast. The hosts are knowledgeable, the topics are interesting...unfortunately it gets held up by a few things. First, there are three hosts a three COMPLETELY different volumes. One is whispering, one is at a ‘normal’ volume, and the other comes across as yelling in her tin Skype connection in relation the the other three. There’s a large dose of Ummms and Yeahs that are extremely distracting. If those two issues were polished up I’d be happy to give it a ‘5’.

This was my favorite podcast I didn’t know about yet! So much material to binge and get great insight form educated and self aware hosts. It’s refreshing. I hope you guys blow up, this is candy for the brain!

This is an amazing podcast! I’ve always been a big fan of horror and this analysis of it is awesome! I actually grew up less than a mile from the town the Blair Witch Project was supposed to take place in (Burkittsville, MD) and my husband grew up in where Dawn of the Dead was filmed (Monroeville, PA). We always joke that we were raised in horror. So it’s fun hearing that subject talked about on this podcast. Please keep them coming!!
