The Land of the Unsolved
The City of Baltimore is no exception when it comes to open homicide cases. The Land of the Unsolved explores the mysterious, nefarious and unresolved killings that remain caught in the murky shadows of the city’s conflicted psyche. Investigative reporters Stephen Janis and Taya Graham go beyond the evidence, talking with homicide detectives, reporters, relatives and residents, exploring the trenchant politics and communal chaos that feeds the vicious cycle of unavenged violence and murder cases left unsolved that continue to haunt the city. Love the Pod casts

I have found that Taya’s and Stephen’s reporting to be top notch. The investigative reporting the thoughtfulness to the subject matter they are covering all come together wonderfully to these podcasts. I would highly recommend you take a moment or two, to fully understand with your own ears. I believe that “The Land of the Unsolved” is a podcast you will want to listen to for hours on end. Thank for reading my review.
Good info but…

Some good info but at times very repetitive (particularly in the continual rehashing of the same questions and info regarding the death of Rey Rivera). Also, audio production needs work; the same short loop of background music gets super monotonous and distracting. Also, why is no one aggressively pushing the obvious questions involving the bizarre note that Ray left? No one writes a cryptic note, then folds it up small and tapes it in a hidden spots unless: 1) The note contains some cryptic/important information that needs to be saved and retrieved later, or 2) the person who wrote it was under some sort of mental stress or breakdown, and the note is therefore incomprehensible because the author’s state of kind was compromised. This issue needs to be pursued.
True Crime Juggernaut

This pod presents the best cases in all of the countless true crime pods—Rey Rivera(years before Unsolved Mysteries made it big), Sean Suiter and the Gun Trace Taskforce and Jody Lecornu. I would listen to 100 more episodes about the Sean Suiter case. The hosts are all reporters that bring their years of experience, knowledge and skepticism to the show. Only problem is the limited number of episodes.
Fantastic reporting

I cannot thank Stephen, Taya, and Shawn? (Spelling) for their efforts to create this podcast. Please ignore the negative comments about breaths or something.... those comments carry no weight.... they were obviously made by people who have no clue. Again thank you all for your work in creating this series. Looking forward to binging “Truth and Reconciliation” next!
